A showcase premier production by Banbury Cross Players of Antony Horrowitz’s one act play ‘A Handbag’, a comedy with a twist, will take place in the Library. Doors open at 6.30 pm and the performance starts at 7.00 pm followed by a Question and Answer session. Tickets at £10.00 include a glass of wine and are available from Adderbury Library and adderburyfocal.org.uk.
Anthony Wagg will give a guided tour of St Mary’s Church starting at 3.00 pm. At the end of the tour there will be a cream tea.
On Sunday 18 January or soon after, two wise men disappeared from the St Mary’s crib scene. We’d really love to see them returned where they belong! They’re irreplaceable, though of no monetary value, and with the rest of the crib figures are loved by hundreds of villagers.
