FOSMA

FOSMA was formed in March 2009. Its aim is to raise money for the repair and upkeep of the fabric of our beautiful village church. Since its formation it has become a registered charity and obtained approval in order that it reclaim tax back via the Gift Aid scheme.
It is the Parochial Church Council who sets the agenda for ongoing maintenance and we work closely with them to help provide as much funding as possible.
To date just over £129,000 has been raised by holding a series of successful, enjoyable and varied events and from generous donations and also membership fees. (For future events please see ‘What’s On’ on www.adderbury.org). £40,000 has been spent on the repair of the wood panelling near the War Memorial, a FOSMA notice board in Church, renovation of the notice board at the Lychgate and an ambitious and much-admired project providing a new wrought iron gate at the south porch church entrance. The two south windows have also been beautifully renovated.
In 2013 there was a full review of the church building which showed a number of areas that required urgent repairs. Having given nearly £17,000 towards these costs since 2009, further substantial commitments to the Tower and with the help of a very generous donation, improvements to the heating system are being investigated.

Individual – annual £10 Two adults, same address – annual £15
Individual – life £200 Two adults, same address – life £300
Corporate – annual £50.
