Gardening Club Summer Show – 29 August

The Institute is booked; the admin is completed; the Parish Council have given a grant towards the costs so Adderbury Gardening Club’s Summer Show is good to go. The Schedules, for Adults and Juniors, are now in Adderbury Stores, the Library and on the Adderbury web page.  For the adults the usual range of fruit and vegetables, plants, flowers, jams, breads, cakes etc.   For the Juniors a few craft based classes, which might give them something to do in the summer holidays.
Our show is just for members of the Gardening Club and the villagers of Adderbury, Twyford and Milton and is a fairly relaxed and fun event. For those who have never exhibited before the rules along with a few hints and tips and how to enter are in the Schedules.
Registration of exhibits takes place on Thursday 27 August between 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm in Church House (Library) or by email to [email protected]  at any time before that time and date.
We have a few well worn and some unique trophies and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Highly Commended certificates for the winners so why not give it a go. Last year we only had 18 exhibitors but they put on a wonderful display. Sadly there were only two Junior exhibitors, it would be nice to see a few more next year.
