Ride and Stride – 13 September

Do you enjoy cycling? Or walking? Horse-riding? Or have an unusual form of transport – like a vintage tractor? Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust, an organisation that makes grants to churches invites you to join in their sponsored Ride+Stride.  St Mary’s received £26,000 last year towards the new electrical heaters. Half the monies raised is used by the Trust to make grants and the other half used to maintain these beautiful historic buildings that are so much part of our landscape.  Click here to see more details.
If you are not able to join in the walking or cycling why not volunteer as a welcomer in the church, providing refreshments for participants as they visit the church.
