Netball
Adderbury Angels are a team originally made up around eight years ago by school mums who had not played netball since their own school days. Some of those original players still remain, and even bring their own daughters along to training sessions, and they have been joined by further enthusiastic netballers of all ages. We train once a week in preparation for term time Sunday matches in the local Cherwell and District league, currently held at Warriner School in Bloxham.
Summer outdoor training is held at Bloxham Primary School each Wednesday between 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm and winter indoor sessions are at Banbury School.
If you are interested in playing the fun sport of netball do come along to a training session to give it a try, we welcome new players and we range in age from teenagers to those of us in our fifties! It’s great fun, sociable and great for fitness too! Taster training sessions are £3 per person, if you decide to join we have a monthly club charge of £7.50.
We would love a sponsor if there’s anyone out there and we have a vacancy for an unpaid coach too!!
