Adderbury Wheels
Do you enjoy cycling? Have you taken up cycling during lockdown? Do you have a hybrid or a mountain bike, or even an E-bike?
Cycling is good for your health, fitness and well-being and is a great way to explore the countryside. Adderbury Wheels makes use of the beautiful countryside around Adderbury and tries to avoid main roads. Cyclists of any ability are welcome to join the group.
ADDERBURY WHEELS
The Adderbury Wheels meet outside Adderbury Library on Saturday mornings at 9.30 am and Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm (summer months only). Distances covered depend on the ability of the group but are usually between 10 – 25 miles. We use minor roads, cycle lanes, tracks and paths and in the summer, we try to stay off-road as much as possible. Over the past three years, we have cycled many different routes in the area, and we are always keen to find new ones. We also take part in some organised cycling events, such as the Broughton Castle Sportif, and in June 2019 a group of us completed the 96-mile Ridgeway over two days. If you would like to join us, just turn up, or, for more information visit our Facebook page, phone 07588 665888 or email [email protected]. We will make you very welcome!
