Adderbury Advent – Call for Volunteers

To help the village celebrate together the weeks leading up to Christmas, St Mary’s Church is once again organising a Living Advent Calendar. The idea is that each evening during Advent there will be a new decorated front window or garden for people to see in the village. So we are looking for at least 24 houses to volunteer to take part! Each house will need to decorate one window or part of their garden, visible from the road during the evening (5.00 pm to 9.00 pm), on a Christmassy theme (eg. a Christmas carol, stars, Santa Claus, etc).
Once all the windows and days have been arranged, we’ll put together a map showing their locations and days, and advertise this round the village, and we’ll also put photos of the windows (with volunteers’ permission) on the Church website, so everyone can enjoy seeing them.
