Adderbury History Association – 20 October

There will be a talk in the Institute by author and ex-teacher Dr Muriel Pilkington starting at 7.30 pm on the Lost Villages of Oxfordshire.  There are 100 Oxfordshire villages listed in the Domesday Book of 1086/7 that no longer exist and she examines why they and later villages disappeared – or remain only in the name of a street, isolated church, farm or manor. Visitors are welcome at £5.00.
