I am sure you will be pleased to know that after months of meetings, research and hard work by the WFAC group, the Parish Council have now submitted the community building application to Cherwell District Council. We hope to be able to update you on this in either the March or April edition of Contact. You can view this application on the Cherwell District Council website: https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/Planning/Display/19/02796/F You can also visit: www.workingforadderburycommunity.co.uk to keep up-to-date on how things are progressing.
In the meantime, fundraising continues, and our next event is the Valentine Aunt Agatha Tea Party on Sunday 16th February at Adderbury Institute. Please contact Vicky for further details and to book your table: firstname.lastname@example.org
For those of you who would like the opportunity to win some cash, we have teamed up with Cherwell Lottery. For just £1 per week you could be in with a chance to win up to £25,000 and support not only Milton Road sports and community project but also other very worthwhile local causes. Fifty per cent of all tickets sold, go to our cause, so if you are not able to support us with your time or by coming along to our fundraising events, this is a fantastic way of helping us achieve our goal! Please visit: www.CherwellLottery.co.uk and search for WFAC for further details or visit the WFAC website.
As with all voluntary organisations we always need help and if you would like to hold an event on behalf of the Milton Road project, have experience with fundraising, grant applications or have been a secretary or treasurer of a voluntary organisation before, we would love to hear from you.
Thank you for your continued support!
