Do you care about the community you live in? Would you like to see a Neighbourhood Watch scheme operating in your area?

Neighbourhood Watch schemes are there to increase awareness about what is happening around the area that you live and to make sure people are looking out for each other, especially the elderly and more vulnerable members of the community.

We need new scheme Coordinators! Would you like to become a coordinator of a Neighbourhood Watch scheme for the area in which you live and make a difference to your community?

As a Coordinator you will build up and introduce members of your community to your scheme. You will pass information on to your members who will then share that information with their neighbours, family and friends. You will receive ongoing support from the Cherwell & West Oxon NHW Representative and Thames Valley Police to make sure your scheme is as effective as it can be.

Members of your Neighbourhood Watch scheme will receive:

ü Thames Valley Police Neighbourhood alerts
ü Local information and alerts specific to your area that comes from your local Neighbourhood Police team and other NHW members
ü Invitations to Action & Awareness events held throughout the year
ü Crime reduction advice and information
ü Neighbourhood Watch Scheme member door/window sticker
ü UV pen to mark your own valuables

It is important to get to know who your neighbours are. By working together, you can help to tackle local issues, including anti-social behaviour and criminal damage, which can help to reduce crime.

If you think you would like to become a coordinator of a scheme, please email your name, address and phone number to:

Clare Percival –

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,
Clare Percival
