Chairman’s Announcements:  The ice house project had been completed except for the bat door which was currently being constructed.
The Friends Meeting House project had been completed except for the protection grills which were currently being manufactured.
Works to the Lucy Plackett Playing Field footpath are to start on 24 October.
The Silent Soldier is now in place at The Crescent.

Planning:  No observations had been made by the PC in respect of the following applications:

Planning Application 18/00220/F – Report and Decision Notice were both noted.  It was agreed to progress with discharging the 3 pre-commencement conditions (which refer to the field drainage scheme and a requirement for archaeological investigation) Quotes for this work would be obtained and CDC be asked whether Section 106 funds could be used for this.

Village Matters:  FOCAL – A report was noted and their AGM is on Monday 24 September at 7.30 pm in Church House.
An update on the work of WFAC (Working for Adderbury Community) was noted and the PC Trustees on WFAC were approved as Councillors Keith Mitchell, Martin Rye and Chris Shallis.
Progress on the Forest Schools Project was noted and it was agreed that quotes be obtained for the on-going management of the land, the school be asked to include in their risk assessment, the impact of the air quality on the pupils whilst on the PC land and the Chairman was authorised to continue to liaise with the Primary School on this project.
Matters relating to the Oxford Road Speed Survey/Traffic matters – this would be referred back to Traffic Calming Working Group for further consideration, Councillor Ann Lyons be appointed as a member of the Traffic Calming Working Group and selected residents representing areas of the village be invited to join the Traffic Calming Working Group in an advisory capacity and the membership be approved at the next PC meeting.
The widening of the footpath from Adderbury to Bodicote project would be progressed.
Bus shelters.bus stops on A4260 – it was agreed to discuss further with OCC and APC requests that two bus shelters should be erected, one in the lay-by near Summers Close on west side of Banbury Road and the other on the west side of Banbury Road near Gracwell to replace the old shelter.

Parish Council matters: Garrad Millier was co-opted onto the PC.
Two residents attended the PC Surgery in August.
There were no issues regarding Health and Safety at The Rise Lakes and Lucy Plackett.
Walled Garden Allotments – the rent for 2019/20 was agreed at £28.00.  The tenancies for plots 1 and 3 be terminated and plot 1 to be split into two plots before being re-let.
