Another great evening is anticipated from FOCAL, the wine quiz Call My ‘Wine’ Bluff will be held in the library at 7.00 pm.  A fun, sociable evening of team wine tasting.  Guess the wines with the art of deduction!

‘A Star is Born’ – 8 March

Adderbury Cine Club will be showing ‘A Star is Born’ in the Institute – doors open at 7.30 pm. Nominated for 5 Golden Globes it is sure to win plenty in this year’s award season. Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) discovers, and falls in love with, struggling artist Ally (Lady Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer until Jackson coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jackson fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

Adderbury Lakes Working Party – 2 March

The monthly working party meets the first Saturday of the winter and early spring months.  The next group will meet on 2 March at 9.00 am in the carpark towards the end of Lake Walk or just come along and find the group around the lakes when you can.

Tennis in Adderbury

The new season of Tennis Courses has been announced at Adderbury’s very own tennis and squash club.  The 2019 spring season has adult courses for the absolute beginner, those wanting to dust off their rusty rackets, for those simply hoping to improve their techniques and even a course to help you get fit whilst hitting lots of balls.

Banbury West End Tennis and Squash Club is based in Adderbury and has courses to suit everyone!  The courses also offer a great way of meeting similar standard players for you to knock with anytime.
