After giving this much thought, I have decided that I will be stepping down as Leader of 1st Adderbury Cubs, this year. I have been involved in scouting for 22 years now, and 10 years of that has been with the pack in Adderbury. Alongside me leaving, my brother Paul, has also decided to stand down. Paul has given even more than myself, with almost 25 years’ experience.
Moving forward we now need to begin the recruitment process to find our replacements. Being a leader in scouting is one of the most rewarding activities you can be involved in, and you are supported by a huge scouting movement that offer training and assistance whenever you need it. If there is anyone that may be interested in becoming a leader, then please let me know and I can discuss further and try and answer any questions you may have. This can be run by a group of leaders rather than just a couple, and that way it’s less of a time commitment.
On behalf of myself and Paul I would thank all of you for your support so far, and for your support going forward during this transition process. I would also like to thank Callum, and Michael for all their hard work and dedication.
Please contact me on email@example.com to discuss further. Jamie Co Akela – 1st Adderbury Cubs.
